I offer a variety of workshops and classes including regular two hour sessions in 5 Rhythms Dance, monthly 'Sweat Your Prayers' and day/weekend workshops focussing on particular themes. I also run an ongoing group over several weekends. Below are further details about each of these different offerings. I am currently offfering fornightly 5 Rhythms Classes in Glasgow. These are run on a drop-in basis and are open to everyone whether you are completely new to this work or an old-timer! There is usually a warm-up period, a time where music is being played and you are free to move, stretch, and arrive. The remainder of the class may take various forms from being a lightly facilitated journey through the Wave of the 5 Rhythms to a more specific teaching on a particular Rhythm or aspect of the Rhythms.
‘Sweat Your Prayers’ is a space to come and drop deep into your own dance, moving through the meditation of the 5 Rhythms Wave, supported by music only. These are non-taught sessions - open to dancers who have attended a minimum of one taught 5 Rhythms class (or similar movement practice).
